This interactive will let you enter two functions f and g (or pick them from the dropdown menu), and attempt to compose them. In the first row, we replace g(x) by its definition first, then plug the result into f. In the second row, we plug g(x) into f first, then replace it by the definition for g(x). In the last column, we attempt to simplify the result, with mixed success.
